Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is an upcoming Indian epic biography film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. It is directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti. Kangana Ranaut has played the title role of Rani Lakshmibai. Major photography on the film began in May 2017 and is to be released in August 2018.

Moving Picture Tale:
The film is based on the war against the British East India Company during the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi and the Indian Revolt of 1857.
